Brianna Augustine

 Apprentice

Brianna began dancing at Trinity Arts Center in Johnson City, Tennessee at the age of eight. There she trained in classical ballet under Tanya Rathbun. In 2011, Brianna continued her training in classical ballet, modern, and contemporary dance at East Tennessee Ballet Academy. She trained under Tamlyn Bernshausen, Brad Parquette, and former Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet teacher, Cynthia Bernhausen. During her time at ETBA, Brianna was able to perform roles such as Winter Fairy in Cinderella (2015), the Evil Queen in Snow White (2016), and Swanhilde in Coppelia (2018). Brianna was also a soloist in the yearly performance of The Nutcracker, and many original modern and contemporary pieces.

In 2019, Brianna accepted a trainee position with Magnum Opus Ballet. Shortly after she began working towards a degree in Nutrition alongside her dance career to educate young dancers on the importance of a balanced diet. Brianna is very excited to dance with Magnum Opus Ballet as an apprentice for the 2021-2022 season.
