Hannah Butzow

Senior Apprentice

Hannah started dancing at a young age, receiving scholarships to train in all styles of dance throughout the Chicagoland area, and eventually earned a Bachelor's in May 2020. Some of her favorite classical performances include “Cupid” in Don Quixote and “Gumzatti” excerpts from La Bayadere.

Fulfilling her passion for sharing dance, Hannah has been the choreographer and teacher for multiple theatres in Northern Illinois, working with people of all ages and abilities. One of her choreographic works placed among the top 12 in A&A Ballet’s D.I.V.E International Choreography Competition in conjunction with the European Alliance for the Arts.

Some fun facts of her theatre experiences include working backstage for The Shanghai Circus, and as a follow spot operator for “A Charlie Brown Christmas” through Cue Theatricals Inc. Hannah has been beyond blessed by the support of her relatives the past year during the pandemic and is grateful for another opportunity for growth to share arts as a ministry with the community.

Hannah is looking forward to her third season with Magnum Opus.
