Magnum Opus School of the Arts opened September 2022! Our mission is to create a Christ-centered environment that nurtures the artistic abilities that God has placed in each and every one of us.

Our beautiful new space is location at 4226 Argosy Court!

​

Registration for summer classes is open NOW!

Fall registration opens on June 1st.

Training at Magnum Opus School of the arts is more then just honing your art form. We believe that art prepares young children for well-rounded life styles as well as enriches our whole being. You will also find a class no matter your age or ability. Whether you hop into our adult ballet, or try picking up a violin for the first time, there is a place for you at Magnum Opus!

All of our staff is dedicated to not only teaching, but mentoring our students. Each teacher longs to encourage their students in their art form, as well as pray for them and walk beside them in all areas of life.

Session one starts on September 9th and finishes with a Christmas Showcase in the middle of December! (exact dates TBD)

                                                 What do I wear?​

​

  • Little Ballerinas, Cutie Patooties and Dancing Dreamers: Feel free to wear what makes you feel amazing. Hair in a bun and pink ballet shoes. 

  • Ballet Girls: Solid black leotard, pink tights, black dance skirt is optional. Pink ballet shoes and hair in a bun.

  • Ballet Boys: White t-shirt and comfortable black pants, black ballet shoes.

  • Classical Contemporary, Jazz, and Homeschool Dance: Black leggings or fitted black pants, plain shirt or leotard with your leggings. NO JACKETS. (In the warmer months you may wear black shorts) Classical contemporary, barre foot or turners. Jazz. black jazz shoes. Home school dance, pink ballet shoes. Hair pulled back, no hair down.

  • Hip-hop: Stretchy pants, shirt and clean sneakers. NO JACKETS. Hair pulled back.

  • Tap: Black leggings, plain shirt and black tap shoes. Hair pulled back.

  • Manda Panda Program and Theatre Fusion: Stretchy, movable, and comfortable shirt and pants. Hair pulled back and your choice of ballet shoes, jazz shoes, or turners. Please no socks. 

  • Music; Anything you can move your upper body well in, no shoes in the studio.

  • Adult ballet: You are welcome to wear a leotard and tights, or any type of workout attire. Ballet shoes required.

  • Acting and Manda Panda: Feel to get dance sneakers if you prefer.

Our teachers are experienced professional artists that long to give their gifts back to the community and train the next generation to connect their faith and art!

Do I get to perform?​

​

Yes! Mid-May (dates TBD) everyone in our Fine Arts Programs will have the exciting opportunity to perform with our professional company and showcase all they have learned over the year!
