Summer Intensive 2023

Magnum Opus is excited to host our first summer intensive in our brand new studios! Our state of the art sprung floors and harlequin marley make it a wonderful place to do your training this summer! The program will be ballet based with a mix of jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, and conditioning classes. Each morning will be begin with pray and worship and end in a similar manner. Our founder and director as well as experienced company dancers will be teaching throughout the intensive. We will also be bringing in guest teachers such as the renowned Charmaine Ristow and many more! 
This intensive is for intermediate to advanced dancers. There is not an age requirement and pointe experience is not required for intermediate dancers. If you have questions, please email us at: info@magnumopusballet.org.

Dress Code: 
Girls Ballet - Black modest leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, optional short black ballet skirt. Hair neatly pulled back. Fridays, any color leotard or skirt can be worn.
Girls Jazz/Contemporary/Musical Theatre/ Conditioning Classes - Black or solid leggings are allowed.
Boys Ballet- White shirt with black pants, tights, or shorts, black, white, or nude ballet shoes. Fridays any color shirt can be worn.
Boys Jazz/Contemporary/Musical Theatre/Conditioning Classes: Any solid color t-shirt or tank top

COST
$450 per week when doing individual weeks
$400 per week when registering for all three weeks
$500 per week for room and board, which covers housing, transportation, and food (not covering eating out or extra excursions) $250 for host home housing, this is for a limited amount of dancers wishing to be with a host family instead of traditional summer program housing. (not covering eating out or extra excursions)
All dancers under 18 will be under the supervision of a chaperone at all times.

Registration is due by May 14th.

Please include a first arabesque picture with your registration.

There is a $20 registration fee. 

Deposit is due 10 days after your registration is submitted.
