Kelsey started her journey with dance at Vail Dance Studio and Mainstage Center for the Arts, where she studied various styles of dance and acting. At the age of 15, she continued her ballet training at Dance Arts Cherry Hill under the direction of Dalia Wolanow Hay of Pennsylvania Ballet and Douglas Hay of New York City Ballet. There, she fell in love with ballet and had the opportunity to study at summer intensives such as American Ballet Theatre, Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, and Cincinnati Ballet. Kelsey furthered her ballet and modern training at Adelphi University where she received her B.F.A. in Dance with a minor in Psychology. There, she had the pleasure to perform many pieces under Frank Augustyn of National Ballet of Canada and Orion Duckstein from Paul Taylor Dance Company. Kelsey is excited for her fourth season with Magnum Opus and the opportunity to share the Lord’s message through the art of ballet.
