Lauren began learning ballet at the age of 6 with The Joy of Dance School of the Arts in her hometown of Vancouver, WA. She performed original Christian ballets with the school, including The Prince of Egypt, The Prodigal Daughter, and Undaunted. In 2019, she had the pleasure of performing the role of Dewdrop Fairy in The Nutcracker with Vancouver Dance Theatre. She continued training pre-professionally with Poiema Dance Academy, studying under Cynthia Strang, and The Joy of Dance, training under Christina Wilder and Olivia Aho. She also attended Ballet Magnificat! Summer Dance Intensive in 2021, taking technique and choreography classes from Jiri Voborski and Sol Maisonet. She joined Magnum Opus Ballet in 2022 as a trainee and is excited to continue with the company in Season 8 as an apprentice.
