Lauren began dancing when she was five years old in Yorkville, Illinois. When she was a junior in high school, Lauren moved to Allegro Performing Arts where she was a member of the Allegro Ballet Company. Under the direction of Heather Sheppard, she performed famous ballets, including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Stars and Stripes, and Giselle, where she was the title role, and danced original works. She has also been involved with her church’s Sacred Dance Group, performing and choreographing pieces since a young age. Lauren attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to pursue a BFA in dance for two years before accepting a position with Magnum Opus. She is now receiving a degree in Arts Management through the University of Massachusetts-Amherst to complement her dance career.

Lauren joined Magnum Opus for the 2019/2020 season as an Apprentice and was promoted to Company Artist during the 2020/2021 season. She is excited to continue dancing with the company and is looking forward to all that is in-store for her fifth season.
