Sophia began her dance journey with the Milwaukee Trinity Irish Dance Academy at age five. At age nine, she joined Steps of Grace Ballet School where she was trained in classical ballet, modern technique, and contemporary. Through Steps of Grace she performed in original ballets by former Milwaukee Ballet professional Alyce Andrews: Max Lucado inspired “You Are Special”(2011) “His Gift”(2013, 2017) and “Moses”(2017). She danced the solo roles of Miriam in “Moses” and Mary in “His Gift”(2017). Sophia continued training at Acts 17:28 Dance her senior year as a conservatory student. 

In 2019, she joined Magnum Opus Ballet as a trainee and danced along side the company. She was then promoted to an apprentice for her second season. Sophia is looking forward to beginning her fifth season with the company as a company artist.
